Dammit!
So it’s official as of next week Yahoo will own all of this.
It’s hard to blame the Karp for selling @ 1.1 billion (and rumor has it it’s 1.1 billion in cash).But still.
The last social network I was part of that got bought out went from great to hate in under a year. Now it’s a barron wasteland of irrelevance.
The absolute worst part is yahoo is notorious for being copywrite nazi’s, this could make photoblogging under them difficult if not impossible, (again the last soc network removed the ability to photoblog all together after the buyout).
Lets hope Karp (and the rest of the staff that is probably going to get booted) doesn’t have to sign a no compete clause and starts over again.~sighs ,
yeah, this sucks….
